Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through BuildaDraft™ at https://buildadraft.com. Please read it before purchasing.
Build Pass — One-Time Purchase ($24.99)
A Build Pass grants permanent ownership of one specific Build Plan, including the right to download project documents, make revisions, and receive future updates for that plan.
Eligible for a full refund: within 48 hours of purchase, provided the associated Build Plan has not been accessed (opened, downloaded, or revised) after the purchase was made.
Not eligible for a refund: if the 48-hour window has passed, or if the Build Plan was accessed at any point after purchase.
Because Build Plan content (material lists, estimates, PDFs) is delivered on access, we cannot issue refunds after the plan has been opened. We strongly encourage you to review the free preview of a Build Plan before purchasing.
Build Pack — One-Time Purchase ($41.99)
A Build Pack provides five (5) Build Pass credits. Each credit may be applied to any Build Plan you choose, at any time. Credits do not expire.
Eligible for a full refund: within 48 hours of purchase, provided no credits have been consumed (no Build Plans have been accessed using credits from this pack).
Partial refund — unconsumed credits only: within 48 hours of purchase, if some credits have been consumed, a partial refund may be issued for the unconsumed credits at the per-credit rate ($8.40 per unused credit), subject to administrative review.
Not eligible for a refund: after 48 hours, or for credits that have already been consumed.
Credits consumed before a refund request are considered used and will not be refunded regardless of timing.
Pro Subscription — $79.99/month
The Pro subscription is billed monthly. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
Cancellation: when you cancel, your Pro access continues through the end of the current billing period. No further charges will be made after that date.
Refunds for unused periods: we do not provide partial-month refunds for the current billing period after it has started. If you are billed in error (e.g., after a cancellation that was processed on our end), contact us within 7 days and we will issue a full correction.
Build Plans created during your Pro subscription are permanently owned by you and remain accessible after cancellation. Your account type will revert to Free at the end of the billing period.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at:
Please include the following in your request:
- The email address associated with your BuildaDraft account
- The order or transaction ID from your purchase receipt
- The product you are requesting a refund for
- A brief reason for the request (optional, but helpful)
We will respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer.
Exceptions and Our Discretion
All refund decisions are made at BuildaDraft’s sole discretion. We reserve the right to grant refunds outside of the above policy in exceptional circumstances, and we reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet the eligibility criteria above.
We do not issue refunds for purchases made through unauthorized resellers or third-party platforms. We are not responsible for purchases made with incorrect account credentials or by unauthorized users.
Chargebacks initiated with your card issuer or bank without first contacting us may result in account suspension pending resolution.
Beta Program Note
BuildaDraft is currently in beta. We appreciate your support during this phase. If you experience a significant technical issue that prevents you from using a product you purchased, contact us and we will work with you to make it right, even if your request falls outside the standard policy window.
